I have just read
your History of the S. A.
Brigade in France, & have
enjoyed doing so
very much. It is so
clear, I knew nothing
of their heroic doings
before. When one looks
back to 1902 what a
wonderful thing it is.
I am so glad to have
seen your house, to be
able to visualize yours
& Mrs Buchan's doings.
I am in Bristol in a
(so far vain) effort to
raise a reg't.
