Cottage for Easter holidays, where we shall miss Mrs [ST: Humphry] Ward dreadfully - I was very fond of her: wherever she was you felt things were alive - and I am so unhappy for Dorothy [ST: Ward] & the poor old man who is still very ill.

I hear from [ST:Henry] Newbolt that you greatly flourish at Elsfield. Are you going to be there this next month & in the summer? I believe we are coming to Oxford some time & must get over to you.
