Permit me to thank you for
your pen-portrait & prose-poem in
memory of my friend.

It is what I would like to have done
but nothing like it should I have been
able to do.

I live on his estate here within 1/2 mile of
Wilsford & my wife mourns his loss constantly.
They were going to sketch & paint together.
It was horribly unexpected.
