Thanks. I've got hold of Hanna's Chalmers; there ought to be a good book on Scotland 1800-50, quite writable at this distance of time. Scotland was never greater than then. All this family thinks "The Path of the King" the best book you've written, and also the one with most spiritual sustenance in it - tho' that 'expression' is not Mary's still less Humphry's! GMT. [G.
