My dearest wee Mother

We have had fine weather over the week-end. On Saturday Susie & I went to tea at All Souls & then to W. P. Ker's lecture [ST: Professor of poetry], which

was very good. We picked up the Stracheys at Magdalen. Strachey looks very much older but has quite recovered from his pernicious anaemia. Yesterday he didn't go out as he was afraid of the East wind.

His son John & another undergraduate came up for luncheon. It has been very nice having them.

We are going to tea with the Fieldings [ST: at Beckley Park] on Otmoor to day. I am so sad about not

coming up to Scotland to night. How are you all? We are all well here, & still unfevered
