What do you think of Mackenzie King? You know the way in which he has written & written & sent us messages all the winter - after all his protestations he has finally selected Lord Willingdon!!!! - I daresay a very good appointment but why did he worry us? when he knew that Willingdon was there & eager to go?

These things are very strange. I shall be up in London on June 24th would you at

all like it if I came to lunch with you - John wants to know which side you are on in the Liberal quarrel?
