You're right about Nordic: I knew it all the while but could not think of another word. 'Northern' might be better.

P.S. I'm so glad you say you generally agree with the views I express in my History. That too pleases me a lot. You, among others, have in the course of years taught me much - partially unwhipped me without wholly torifying me.
