In your list of officers you have omitted Mr Vaughan Hanning Lee in the Crimea, Alma Inkerman, and Sebastopol (my father). 3 medals Mr. J. Edwards Vaughan (myself) in Burmah 1886. Medal, 2 clasps, depatches. and finally Mr. J. Nash Edwards V. (my son) thelast joined "war" to 1/R.S.7 3 generations

Particulars of my father's service in the Crimea can be obtained from my brother

Colonel A.V.H. Vaughan Lee ^late O/C R.H.GS. of Dillington Park Ilminster Somerset

who has all the story at his finger's ends, together with the (then) boy's original letters.

I John Edwards Vaughan was also (then being in the militia Batallion R.S.F. keeping up some sort of training in readiness for Armageddon) was attached to the 2/R.S.F. in South Africa in 1900 -
