My darling little one
I do hope that the wind does not blow too dangerously at Elsfield. I am always a little nervous about you & the others on the roads. My love to Peter. Say I shall expect him to lunch with me on Wednesday at the Athenaeum at 1 o'clock. He can come up with the 10.50 train.

American policy, including a speech which he has to make. He trusts me as the chief American & Scottish expert! I am just off to Ian Malcolm's dinner. Dorothy Macmillan wants us to dine on Nov. 27th, but I have declined
Much love, my own darling, to you & to all
