Dear Colonel Buchan

My parents join me in congratulating you on your return to Parliament once again, and I take the further opportunity of thanking you for your sympathetic interest in my illness during the last winter.

I have been home a month now, and feel quite fit, and am even putting on weight still. Of course,

I am taking things carefully for a time yet, but hope to be able to start working soon.

By this post I am sending for a copy of the little book I wrote, which I believe my father mentioned to you.

I hope to have the opportunity of meeting you in the House soon.
