This is W.P's brother Charles: saying that it is a pity W.P. isn't here to enjoy "Castle Gay". l know how he loved the Gorbals Diehards & the grown Jaikie would have have kept him twinkling - and the country that he loved.

be calling you John Buchan. But you'll never be "Mr." nor anything but John Buchan to your readers.
