My own little darling

I will have to put off my proper letter till to-morrow, for we are just starting out to fish, & we fish till 8 p.m. This is the

fishing lodge for Glassel, with the river at the door. Neville C [ST: Chamberlain] & I got here yesterday at 10.30 & we fished till 8. No fish, for it was too bright, but it

was a dream of beauty. I feel the fishing very light work (but I can't cast with a light rod), & it is wonderful air on the riverside. I am very well, & it is doing me a world of

good. More tomorrow.

I do hope you are well & that all you beloveds have had a happy Easter.
