I wrote to you this morning, & I hope you get it to night, [&] have had a good day at Eton

I lunched with Ferris on Magdalene & Perfect Salvation. I have asked the Greenslets [ST: Houghton Mufflin partner] to dine (provisionally) at the House next Thursday (March 26th). Will you keep that night free?

I think I must make an effort to

come home on Friday, though it won't be till the 4.45. Will you tell Webb unless you hear to the contrary, to meet me at 5.55 on Friday?

Will you ask the Islip map-man to tea on Sunday, for I have now got the proofs of The Blanket of the Dark?

I am dining with Blanchie & catching the 11 train. I will write to you from Edinburgh
