I have just had a long talk with Oliver
Stanley, & we are [greatly perturbed].

There is another curious development.
A large section of Labour, led by old Dunnico,
are prepared to join us on the Tariffs
if we drop the 10% cut in the scale of
employment benefit.

Altogether we live in the midst of
alarms - just the kind of troubled waters
in which L-G. likes to fish!
