The writer, a devout admirer of Sir Walter, who has just read your "Sir Walter Scott" with very great pleasure & interest, ventures to call your attention to a misprint on p.232 where Mike Lambourne, the solider of fortune, is referred to as "Miles" Lambourne. This is in the 2nd edition. So it appears as if the misprint has not been noted. You will understand the writer's zeal for the purity of the sacred text! - Gratefully
