My own darling,
I do hope you and Alice got safely home today. It looks as if the weather were slowly moving towards summer. I went to bed early last night, and am perfectly well this morning.
Today I hope to get some work done, for I have no engagements. The Finance Bill begins its final stage today, and the division is on Friday. I hope to get back by the 4.45 train. I think you had better send the little car for me, as your mother's luggage will fill the other car.
No news at all! I will write again tomorrow morning.
Much love. from John
