John Edgar, Esq.,
Killyleoch,
Dunscore,
Dumfriesshire.
My dear John ,
I was very pleased to get your last letter, and also to
see in a letter of yours to my sister that you were getting a
certain amount of fresh air, and that you are sleeping a little
better. Of course it will be a slow affair, but any progress is
most encouraging, and I hope you will soon be able to go to Edinburgh
to stay with Johnnie, and then come to me at Elsfield. Now
that the Egyptian decision has been made, I cannot help thinking
that you will presently cease to worry about it.
Do let me know if there is anything you fancy that I
can send you. Much love
Yours ever,
John Buchan
