[ST: arrangements for Holyrood High Commisioner ship]

St. Stephen's House, London, S.W.1.

12th April , 1933

My own little darling

I am very sorry about Lady Alice. Don't do anything about Car or Rosalind until I see you. I want you to have whoever you would like.

The Purse Bearer is coming to stay for the night at Elsfield next Tuesday. This will be very useful, for we shall get every detail.

As I told you, we shall have the Secretary of State for Scotland and his daughter for one night the first week, and Ramsay and Ishbel for the weekend. We will find out from the Purse Bearer what accommodation there is. We ought to settle our whole staff this weekend. I think I will ask Borodale today. Donald Lennox Boyd wants to come as A.D.C. , but I have my doubts.

Webb meets me at St. Stephen's Club at a quarter to eleven tomorrow.

Much love.
