St. Stephen's House, S.W.1.
23rd November, 1933
My own darling,
Just a line for you to get this evening. I hope you had a good journey home. Remind Webb that I arrive at a quarter past ten tomorrow morning.
I thought the dinner last night very pleasant. It is difficult to believe that Leo [ST: Amery] is sixty. Are you going to send him a book?
Before I went to bed last night I had a talk in the Club with Sir Denis Herbert, the Deputy- Speaker. He is Member for Watford and was brought up in the neighbourhood, and talked a lot about Moor Park in the old days. [ST: (my old house) ST]
Neil Macmillan [ST: Scottish friend] is coming to tea with me today.
Much love.
