My dear John,

I got back here yesterday after a very heavy time, which
has afflicted me with profound sleepiness. I think it all went
off very well, but I will tell you about it when I see you. I will
send for you at three o'clock on Friday as usual.

I do hope you have been mending since I saw you last.
