I have very little news. The debate in the House on the Defence Estimates was good. S.B. was so-so - he hadn't got up his brief, but Simon was competent, and Austen C. was first-class, & got a great ovation.

The P.M. is in bed, but his cold

is going. Sam Hoare has also had a chill.

I have a Zionist Committee today & hope to dine at The Club. Shaker Morrison says he has taken a great liking to Billy.

I hope you are well & not doing too much.
