That this latter should be linked with the former, the last with the first, makes me prouder and happier than words can express. I am too deeply moved by this expression of

your friendship, and the friendship it expresses, to wish myself to say a word about it. I can only thank you, thank you for this gift of this child of your mind, this gift of so much of yourself; this I do, as you well know, from the bottom of my heart.
