At the following Convocation held
in April 25th the Chancellor, brought the
matter to the direct notice of those assembled.
In his address he pointed out the purpose
of the Trustees and that they desired grate-
fully to perpetuate the memory of all who
have aided Queens University in its early
struggles or who have in any way evinced
devotion to its fortunes.

The Chancellor stated, "It has been
proposed to create a rool of Benefactors,
inscribed with the names of all who have
aided this institution from its foundation.
