The Senate having sustained the Theses
of Messrs. Cattanach, McCallum and Ross Bachelors
of Arts resolved to confer and hereby do
confer on each and all of these gentlemen the
degree of M.A.

Mr. James Ross B.A. having passed in
all the prescribed examinations the Senate
resolved to confer and hereby do confer upon
him the degree of B.D.

[margin]3 LL.D.s[/margin]
The Senate having made the necessary
enquiries, and having received the necessary
recommendations resolved to confer and
hereby do confer the degree of LL.D. upon
Sir William Young Chief Justice of Nova
Scotia Alpheus Todd, Chief Librarian of
the Parliament of Canada and author
of Parliamentary Government in England
and other valuable works, and Louis Howard
Frechette author of Les Fleurs Borealus
and other poems of distinguished merit.

The Senate having heard the report
of the Examiners in Medicine and having
had the necessary certificates produced, resolved
to record and hereby do record that
the following undergraduates in Medicine
have passed their primary examination
in Medicine viz

RL Anglin
CAB Fry:

that A.D. Cameron has passed in all the
subjects of the primary examintion except
chemistry, that John J Hamilton, AA Mordy,
and JL Reeve have passed in Materia
