of the University, shall be disposed of only on the
written order of the Chairman of the Financial Committee.

(17) The Faculty shall, from time to time frame
regulations as occasion may require, touching the details
of the course of study, and teaching, examinations,
admission of students, the amount and payment of
fees, and the discipline and internal government of
the Faculty; and shall duly enforce such regulations;
and may also alter or repeal any of them, and shall
hear and determine all complaints as to the violation
thereof; provided always that such regulations, or
such alteration or repeal thereof, be first approved
by the Trustees, and that such regulations shall be
subject to alterations and repeal by the Trustees.

(18) The Faculty shall institute an integral portion of the
College Senate for the purpose of receiving and
deciding on the reports of the Examinations in Medicine,
and especially for determining on whom degrees in
Medicine shall be conferred, at a meeting of the
Senate called for the purpose by the Registrar; and
also for any other purpose affecting the study of
Medicine, or the Medical Professors or Students.

The following nominations from the Nominating Committee
of the Medical Faculty were confirmed, viz:-
Dr. W. T. Connell, Professor of Pathology, and Bacteriology and
of Medical Jurisprudence.
