These Selections should
be recorded in the Land Survey
Office, and duly attended to on the
receipt from Sydney of the [proper?] returns
and [maps?] of lands open to selection - [?] [?]

It will have to be considered in what dept.
the Deeds are to be prepared. In Sydney the preparations of
Deeds is a branch of the Survey Department - and this is by far the
most convenient arrangement. This however can await the appointment of
a Surveyor General.
