The Council deem it undesirrable to accept
[?] submitted to them and advise
that Tenders should be called for, in the usual way,
stating the price at which [contractors?] are willing
to erect the building if the materials are
conveyed to Port Denison at the [?] of the
Govt., and if the contractor conveys his own materials;
the tenders to be sent in at a [short?] date.
The Council also advises that Tenders should
be called for, for a [refusal?] to carry stones [?] to
Port Dension.

Sir,

I have the honor to
inform you that at the beginning
of this month, Mr [Dalrymple?]
requested me to take
preparatory steps for the
erection of quarter for the
barriers [?] officers
who were about to proceed
to Port Denison;

2 Agreeably to Mr.
[Dalrymple's?] directions, I
have prepared [places?], and
obtained a tender from Mr.
[Fitzalan?] to erect the whole
of the buildings, viz. House
for [C?], containing,
five Rooms and Kitchen;
Stove and Office for [?].
