Protector of Aboriginals [Babinda] 13th March, I924

Re Places having Aboriginal names, and the meaning of the Aboriginal Words.

Sir/

I have the honour to report that as far as I can ascertain all the names of places in this District are English names.

I have interviewed several of the Old Aboriginals of this District , and I was unable to get any information from them that would assist in compiling a list as requested in your letter dated 5th Mar February, December I923
