Summary: John Rhodes (Co. G, 125th USCI), was enrolled and mustered on April 20, 1865, at Lebanon, Kentucky. John died at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, on October 29, 1867 of Cholera. John Rhodes and Mary Spaulding were both residents of Jefferson County, Kentucky. They were married on January 30, 1851 by Father David Clark, a Catholic priest, and had four children: Frances Ann (1852), Christina (1854), Josephine (1859), and Henry (1861) Rhodes. Mary Spaulding was owned by William Spaulding, then sold to Bennedict Rhodes. After being sold, she was then married to John Rhodes.
