Summary: The pensioner was Robert’s wife, Fanny Pool. She was a resident of Jefferson County, Kentucky. Fanny and Robert had no children. Richard Bridwell and Susan Bridwell depose that Fanny and Robert married about fifteen years before his death. Robert was an eye witness of the marriage. Susan states that the couple had no children. Robert died of Small Pox in Cairo, Illinois on 20 March 1866. Affidavit on page 7-8.

Summary: Pensioner Fanny Pool is the widow of Robert Pool, a Corporal in Company I 125th Regiment USCT, and a resident of Jefferson, Kentucky. Document states the soldier was enrolled on 22 May 1865 and was reported to have died on 20 March 1866 at the Post Hospital at Cairo, Illinois of Small Pox. Testimony of Eye Witnesses show that Robert and Fanny were married about sixteen years ago. There are no children under the age of sixteen. The pension was admitted on 13 April 1867, with a pension of $8 per month commencing on 21 March 1866.

Summary: Fanny Pool is the widow of Robert Pool and a resident of Louisville, Kentucky, and aged 52 years old. Robert was a Corporal in Company I 125th Regiment USCT commanded by Colonel Armstrong. Robert died in Cairo, Illinois in March 1866 of Disease. Fanny states she married Robert sixteen years ago. Fanny states that no children under sixteen years of age survive the soldier. Witness Richard Bridwell signed his name and witness Susan Bridwell made her mark.

Summary: The Adjutant General's office in regard to pension 134.809 states that Robert Pool was enrolled on 22 May 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky and he mustered in as a Corporal on 27 May 1865 in Louisville, Kentucky. Report states he died on 20 March 1866 at the Cairo, Illinois Post Hospital.
