Died at Camp Nelson, Kentucky, during September of 1865 from Disease. Hugh’s Mother, Susan, remarried on April 4, 1867. Laura’s guardian was: Reuben Simpon, former Soldier in the 6th USCC Co. B. Former enslaver appears to be Richard Tuggle per CMSR.
