Referring to the subject of obtaining supplies for Spe. Trout / Ova for the coming [?] operation, I have to state that, the [?] for felling [?] [?] [? indications are not encouraging. Previously mentioned in my letter of your Dept of 20th [?], I took
[?] to achieve after seccuring[?] your [?] to "obtain three or four salmon of ova" by writing to Mr Alex[?] at [?] Restigouche Hatchery to Satellier of the Tadoussac Hatchery; and to McPhos Mowat of the [?] River B.C. hatchery; directing [?] making possible arrangement obtaining these Eggs:-- from [?] Mowat[?] [?] Setellier. I have received information that little if any [?] can be placed upon their [?] any:-- from [?] Mowat of B.C. [?] Dept is aware of the positive matters there.-- Tho only other chance now [?] the one [?] [?] to me.
