over to the desk and flops down.)

Brook - How does this effect you, Baby?
Charlie - What is that?
Sammie - (Sammie knocking Brook off the desk) This is my sister Brat, I mean Brook.
Brook - You broke my sex appeal. Mother, Mother.
Sammie - (Sammie grabing Brook's mouth asks Charlie) Do you have any money?
Charlie - Yes, Why?
Sammie - (Letting go of Brook's mouth) I'll give you a quarter to be quiet.
Brook - I'm beginning to lose my memory.
Charlie - How about fifty cents?
Brook - It's beginning to fade away.
Charlie - Seventy-five?
Sammie - Ok, a dollar.
Brook - It's gone.

(Brook leaves the room. Sammie and Charlie sit on the couch. Sammie
turns to Charlie)

Charlie - Sammie, there's something I want to talk to you about.
Sammie - Yes Charlie?
Charlie - Well, Sammie . . . . . . . . . .

(About that time Charlie and Sammie are blasted out of their seats. Brook
is back in the room dancing around the room like a native)

Sammie - What are you doing?
Brook - Dancing.
Sammie - You call that dancing? GET OUT OF HERE!!!!
Brook - My memory is beginning to come back.
Mother - Brook come take your bath.
Brook - I want to stay up with Sammie.
Daddy - Come on Brook!
Brook - Oh! Alright . . .YOU OLD BEAR!!!

(Brook leaves the room)

Sammie - I'm really sorry.
Charlie - Well, I guess I better be going.
Sammie - You just got here.
Charlie - I just remember . . . I promised Dad I would uh!. . . Help him with something.

(Charlie leaves. Sammie stands by the door almost in tears.)
(Brook walks in the room.)
