Colombo, 12th August, 1930,
Mr. James A. Winn
Pesident,
Rotary Club of Greenville,
S.Carolina, U.S.A.
Dear Rotarian Winn,
I am informed by our past President,
Col. T.Y.Wright, that he has sent to you by the
S.S. "Oakbank" which sailed on the 9th Aug, a stone
for use in your Rock Lodge. He tells me the
papers have been sent diret to you and I trust
that the stone is received in due course. The
Singhalese charactors cut on the stone under the
words "Ceylon" are the Singhalese charactors
which mean Lenka, which is the native word for
Ceylon.
Yours in Rotary,
S. O. Wisland
HONY. SECRETARY.
