THE STATE OF ALABAMA, SHELBY COUNTY. TO ANY SHERIFF OF THE STATE OF ALABAMA. AN indictment having been found at the March Term, 1859, of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, against Albert J Brinker for the offence of selling liquor to a slave

you are therefore commanded forthwith, to arrest the said defendant and commit him to Jail, unless he give bail to answer such indictment; and that you return this writ according to law. Attest: Wilis H Pope Clerk of the CIrcuit Court of Shelby County, Dated this 28th day of March 1859.

WE A J Brinker & H W Nelson agree to pay the State of Alabama Two hundred dollars, unless the said A J Brinker appear at the next Term of the Circuit Court of Shelby county, and from term to term thereafter until discharged by law, to answer the offence of Selling liqor to a Slave Witness our hands this 2ond day of April 1859.
