The State of Alabama. TO ANY SHERIFF OF THE STATE OF ALABAMA-GREETING. as you have heretofore bound You are hereby commanded, without delay, to take Joseph B. Dye if to be found in your County, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the Honorable the Judge of the Circuit Court, at a Court to be holden for the County of Shelby on the second Monday in September 1853 then and there to anwer the State of Alabama, on a Bill of Indictment pending in said Court against him for unlawfully trading with a certain slave. and have you then and there this Writ, with your endoresement thereon.

The State of Alabama.
