The State of Alabama, Shelby County. To any Sheriff of the State: An indictment having been found at the September Term, 1856, of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, against John Neighbors for the offence of Cruelty to Slave you are therefore commanded forthwith, to arrest the said defendent and commit him to Jail, unless he give bail to answer such indictment; and that you return this writ according to law.
