THE STATE OF ALABAMA SHELBY COUNTY WE Luis S Tulain & D N Mclanahan agree to pay the State of Alabama Two hundred dollars, unless the said Luis S Tulain appear at the next term of the Circuit Court of Shelby county, and from term to term thereafter until discharged by law, to answer the offence of Selling liquor to a Slave

An indictment having been found at the March Term, 1859, of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, against Louis S Tulane for the offence of selling liquor to a slave
you are therefore commanded forthwith, to arrest the said defendant and commit him to Jail, unless he give bail to answer such indictment; and that you return this writ according to law.
