The State of Alabama Shelby County
To any Sheriff of the State of Alabama.
You are hereby commanded to
sell those goods and chattels of Horace
Ware to wit, three negros. Anderson about
28 years old of dark complexion, Clark about
40 years old and Sam about 40 or 45
years old same color. which you have
take persuant to our command and which
from your return remains in your hands
unsold to satisfy James Thompson the
sum of six hundred & Eighty three dollars
recovered of the said Horace Ware. and
M McClanahan, David N McClanahan. David
W Caldwell & Wilie H Pope. by the judgement
of our circuit court held for Shelby county
on the 18th day of March 1852. besides four
hundred and Eighty nine 20/100 dollars
costs of suit, and make due return
of this writ and the execution thereof
according to the law.
