and evidences of debt of the said deceased, and
make due return, under oath, to this Court, of
a full inventory therepf, within sixty days.

{Orders apptg} In the Matter of the Estate of A.B. Payne, Deceased,

{Commissioners} This day came Tena Payne and filed an
application in writing, and under oath, setting forth
among other things that said A.B. Payne departed this
life on the 19th day of December, 1895, and at the time
of his death was a resident of Shelby County, Ala,
and left him surviving his widow and the following
minor children, viz: George E. Payne and Lorelle Payne
And at the time of the death of said decedent he
owned in this state personal and real property not
exceding the amount exempted to widow and minor
children, as provided under the laws of this state and
that sixty days have elapsed since the death of said
decedent, and there has been no administration on
his estate, and praying that two Commissioners
be appointed by this Court to make complete Inventory
and Appraisement of all the personal and real property
exempt of decedent to widow and minor children, or
either, as provided by the laws of this State, and to
set apart to the widow and minor children of said
decedent, all the personal and real property so
exempted, to value such property and such as may be
incumbered by lien or otherwise, at the death of
said decedent, at the excess of the value over and
above the sum of such lien or incumbrance
thereon. And it appearing that the facts stated
in said petition an tien as therein stated and
contained, it is ordered, adjudged and decreed
that said petition be and the same is hereby
granted--It is ordered by the Court that J.B.
Adams, A. Leonard and M.S. Wilson who
are considered by the Court competent
persons and citizens of good standing in this
County, be and the same are hereby appointed
as Commissioners in accordance with the
