I Caleb S Loper one of the justices of the Peace in and for the County of Suffolk residing in the town of Shelter Island do certify that William Pharoah aged eight years nine months and seven days by and with the consent of Esther Pharoah his mother, his father being dead, did by Indenture executed and bearing date on the sixteenth day of November Eighteen hundred and Twenty nine bind himself a servant to Samuel S Gardiner of Shelter Island to serve him as a servant until he shall arrive at the full age of twenty one years which will be on the seventh day of February Eighteen hundred and forty two which said Indenture was executed in my presence and with my consent. Dated Shelter Island 16th November 1829

Dated Shelter Island 16th November 1829
