My dear Bishop
Your note of
invitation for my good husband
reached me yesterday- and I prompt
-ly reply. Mr. Boyd and my son
are still in Europe. I do
not know when they intend to
return. We shall be most
happy if you will pay our
sad household a visit
You would no doubt be
grieved not to meet the
warm grasp of my dear old
Fathers hand- and hear
his joyous voice - but still
you would be pleased to
hear of the joyous Xtian
death he died - a baptized
member of our holy church.
