You willsee by the memorandum of Bishop Polk in his letter to me how anxious he is about the title to the land conveyed to The University by the Sewanee Mining Co. This [] was ordered to be divided between the heirs of Estill and The University and the Sewanee Mining Companyh by a decree of the Winchester Chancery in February last, and a report of petition has been made by gthe Commisionary. This is important.
