Abner Beers, Greenville, Miss., to Bishop Polk, re: reporting that everything is going on as well as can be expeccted and the Negroes are healthy and working well; reporting 200 bales of cotton. 1 p.

Mr. A. H. Polk Dear Sir!

I only write to inform you that every thing is going on as well as can be expected. The negroes are all enjoying good health and working finely. This week I will finish 200 Bales.

Old uncle Daniel died last week.

Hoping to see you at home as soon as possible [?]
