I am directed by the Bishop of London to acknowledge your letter of the 20th Septr.--

His Lordship is very much obliged to Commander

Maury for so kindly sending him a set of the "Wind & Current Charts" & a copy of the latest edition of "Sailing directions."

The Bishop proposes to present them to St. Mark's Training College, Chelsea,

the head Institution for the Education of Schoolmasters, near his Palace at Fulham.

The U.S. Consul at Liverpool, will I have no doubt duly forward the parcel, to us.
