& face such a dilemma.
You need never have asked my consent regarding answering Ken's letter. Being so close a
friend & meaning so much to us all I wish you to keep up the correspondence. We all would wish him every pleasure. Ken evidently made no big impression on the southern girls, & I know active service is decidedly monotonous without a letter from some girl he admires. And Ken thinks the world of you. I'm blessed if I know why he didn't fall in love as I have. Write direct, honey, I'd feel hurt otherwise.
Our usual symphony concert was the 'works'. As I mentioned before, the orchestra is composed of ex-artists. Our drummer all but made the drums talk. To me the night offers the only complete happiness I know. At times I go into ecstacies especially with the classics & even a jazz rhumba.
Well my darling my eyes are growing misty, so I'll passionately respond to your full lipped kisses, and say cheerio.
Your adoring Fiance,
Alan
