I didn't think the brute would ever stop emerging it was so
long. they played with it a while, then chopped it in half.
One end stayed there & wriggled the other wriggled & dissappeared
down a hole.

Yesterday we killed three blue furred rats whose skins are
worth 3/- each. On account of their carrying deadly River
fever typhus I had them buried.

That moon impressed me so much that I took a time exposure
of it. I hope it tuens out O.K. so I can send it to you.

Time now I must rush away, honey. Tomorrow I'll be
excited all over again awaiting yout letter. I blush & know
that old feeling inside. All the fondest love & kisses
