This would be the worst possible place for a woman in such case. Things like that will make you appreciate hesitancy on my part.

I fear there is little else I can write of. I live in hope that someday we can pick up the threads of our wonderful love. It reminds me of a mirage - so close before the eyes
yet it's only a cruel trick of imagination in reality. Nature never intended man to be away from his queen for so long and I feel awfully restless at times. My mind is true to my heart so I must wait & long for you darling. The luscious passion we eagerly gave to each other, the ecstacy of unselfish intimacy, the prospect of a glorious future, & the tender sympathy you sometimes provoked - all these seem to belong to a world I have lost. I can't weep - I'm a man, so I Jus' smile & try not to remember. No man has ever lived until he has loved - I'm sure of that.
