Sir
I have the honor to forward
for the information of His Excellency the
Governor, a return showing the extent
of Land now clear at the settlement of
Moreton Bay, the quantity actually cul-
tivated, the quantity some with wheat-
The quantity sown with maize, and the
quantity prepared for maize, but as there
is no maize for seed now on the Settlement,
the latter must remain unsown
till the arrival of the next vessel. There
were twelve acres of land prepared in
May for wheat, but in consequence of
no seed being forwarded by the Isabella
(agreeable to the requisition) it was planted
with maize, the wheat received by the
Amity is too late for this years crop, I
regret
