Matthew Jackson ... Claudine 1829 - Life ...
On Arrival was assigned to Mr J Rogers, Mulgoa,
remained in this Service upwards of two Years.
- was lent to Mr John Blaxland for Seven Weeks
up to the time of his Committal - was tried on
25 Oct 1831 at Penrith, before Mess'rs Savage,
Druitt and Wright - and received in this Estab't
on 28th Oct'r 1831, since which time his conduct
has been Good. --

of Stealing some wearing apparel in the
dwelling House of Mr John Blaxland -
and on being convicted received a sentence
[underlined] (of Transportation to a Penal Settlement
for Three Years) -----

That the only evidence in
support of the prosecution was that of a
Boy named Daniel King who stated
himself to have been one of the persons
who committed the robbery And Petitioner
knows of no reason for his false
